The term 'tours' applies to all tours and retreats
The term 'Hamars' refers to the company, Hamars & Harps Ltd.

  • A deposit or payment is required to confirm a tour, workshop, class or retreat.
  • Cancellation by clients for other reasons - All refunds minus transaction costs
    - 100% refund if the client cancels more than 90 days before a tour or retreat
    - 50% refund if the client cancels 60-90 days before a tour or retreat
    - No refund if the client cancels less than 60 days before a tour or retreat
  • Modification & Cancellation of tours or retreats by Hamars
    - itineraries, guides, and activities may be modified at the discretion of Hamars before or during the tour or retreat.
    - Hamars reserves the right to cancel any tour at any time for any reason.

    - In the event that a tour or retreat is cancelled due to factors outside Hamars control less than 90 days before the tour, Hamars does not accept any liability but will make a good faith effort to calculate the expenses incurred up to the point of cancellation, and issue a pro rated refund. These factors include wars, strikes, weather, political disputes, epidemics, border closures, delayed flights, etc. Such refunds are at the sole discretion of Hamars. No further liability by Hamars to the client with regard to the cancellation will arise. Any expenses incurred by the client arising out of these changes are on their own account.
    - If a client is removed from a tour or retreat due to inappropriate behaviour or interfering with the enjoyment of other, then no refund will be paid. No further liability by Hamars to the client with regard to the removal will arise.
  • Unused Services - In the event of a client failing to join a tour or retreat, joining after departure, or leaving prior to completion - for any reason, no refunds will be paid and no liability will be accepted by Hamars.
  • Travel Documents
    - All clients must be in possession of health and personal injury insurance, a passport valid for 6 months after the completion date of the tour or retreat, together with any necessary visas or required vaccinations, and the client accepts full responsibility for obtaining the same.
    - Any information or advice given by Hamars or its agents with regard to the above is given in good faith, but Hamars can accept no responsibility for the information given.
    - Should a client be refused entry to any country where a tour or retreat is conducted due to incorrect or incomplete documentation, or any other reason, Hamars will not be held liable for any costs of such delays or repatriation costs for the client.
  • Health and Safety for Tours & Retreats
    - The retreat accommodations are not handicap accessible and participants will need to climb stair to the bedrooms.
    Our tours are for active people only. We cannot accommodate participants who:
    - use a walker
    - cannot manage stairs
    - use a wheelchair for any reason
    - Cannot walk unaided for at least 30 minutes

    - We want every participant to have a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience. The travel requirements and activities of our tours need all participants to be in good general health and capable of performing all program activities as described by the tour description.
    - As a group travel experience, participants must be capable of caring for themselves during the program and agree not to impede the progress of the program or interfere with the enjoyment of other participants.
    - Participants are required to disclose known medical and physical conditions that may interfere with their safety and well being or the safety and well being of others during this program.
    - Hamars & Harps or the group leader may limit or terminate the participation in the program at the participant’s expense and without refund any participants who fail to disclose all medical information or do not honestly assess their physical capabilities in advance.
    - With this information in mind, carefully consider the travel and program demands as described on the Hamars website, and if in doubt, consult with your physician about your travel plans.
